 Akkli D. est né en Kabylie son pére
est musicien, joue de la flute, ses fréres de l'Harmonica pour l'un
et de la Guitare pour l'autre, c'est avec eux qu il commencera à
apprendre de l'instrumentation. Sa mére chante, on vient la chércher
pour les fetes où elle improvise, à la manière des griots, sur des
thèmes bucoliques et pleins de spiritualité. c'est elle qui lui
donnera une base solide dans le domaine de la musique traditionnelle
Amazigh.

plus
tard
en
France
:
on
peut
le
voir
sur
scène,
entre
autres
lieux,
à
la
féte
de
l'humanité,
au
Parc
Mozart
à
Clichy.
A
San
Francisco
il
monte
une
formation
composée
de
musiciens
Français,
Algériens
et
Américains.
Ils
joueront
à
l'université
de
Stanford,
au
café
international
et
dans
des
lieux
comme
"El
Bario"
célébre
café
hispanique
de
la
ville... Aprés
une
expérience
musicale
réjouissante
avec
des
musiciens
irlandais,
Akkli
D.
enregistre
le
premier
CD
"ANFAS
TRANKIL"
laisse-le
tranquille...

Akkli D. was born in Kabylia in musical family. His father played flute, one brother played
Harmonica, the other played Guitar, and it is with the latter that
Akkli began to master his instrument. His mother was a singer who
was sought after for festivals, where she would improvise, in a
way similar to the griot tradition, on pastoral themes imbued with
great spirituality. it is she who gave him a solid foundation in
traditional Amazigh music.

returned
to
Paris
to
record
his
first
album
